Dormiente was founded in 1988 by two biologists. They have done pioneering work in the field of mattresses that are strictly tested for harmful substances. Dormiente has received many awards for their products from independent bodies such as Ökotest.
The company's objective is to produce healthy mattresses, complete beds, pillows and healthy bedding made from natural materials, with high demands on quality and comfort.
