Ekstrem™ is not just a chair, but rather an object in its own right. It represents one of Norway’s first postmodern designs. The unexpected geometry allows you to sit forward with your feet on the floor, sideways with your legs on the armrests or all the way back with the front of your torso against the chair’s back. A seating experience that can only be described as extraordinary.

Materials

Ekstrem™ consists of a steel frame covered with soft foam and wool knit upholstery. It is available in six colorways in Knit, a custom-made wool upholstery fabric by Devold. Knitted from a single continuous thread, it provides an elasticity that is essential when matching the organic shape of the chair. The knit fabric is soft and breathable and has a classic square pattern.
