The Basket bed by Loof has a Scandinavian look due to its slanted legs and minimalist design. The lines of the headboard give the bed a playful and special look. The bed is made of multiplex, or layered birch, with a high-quality oak veneer. The combination of the graphic effect of the multiplex and the structure of the oak veneer provides a nuanced play of lines. The bed is finished with a natural oil.

Laminated birch, or plywood, is constructed from thin layers of birch. The layers of birch are made by peeling a birch tree. It is an efficient way of using wood because almost everything from the trunk is processed. The laminated birch forms the core material that is provided on both sides with a top layer of oak veneer of European origin, with a beautiful, calm wood structure.
