Collection: Kalana

In a studio in Friesland, Kalana’s sustainable wool lamps are shaped and felted by hand. The lamps are lovingly made from European wool, which gives them a warm and natural look. The face behind Kalana is Karina, who discovered her love for textiles and colour during her studies in fashion design at the art academy. She decided to focus on making textile objects, with a strong focus on sustainability. The wool is dyed in the studio with natural vegetable dyes, with each result being unique due to the variable conditions during the dyeing process. Karina feels joy in creating each lamp again and again, and she looks forward to experimenting with new shapes, colours and prints to expand the collection.
