The plates in the Quattroflex bed bases provide the right counter-pressure over the entire sleeping surface, so that your weight is evenly distributed. The plates can move 3-dimensionally: your body can push them down and they can move sideways in all directions. Unlike a standard slatted base, the entire base is flexible and springy.
